We are a collaborative community theatre organization.

 

Our mission is to employ a team of artists to produce passion-fueled theatre which provides an enriching experience for the people working on it and for our audiences. We create opportunities to pass on skills and talent to an ever-developing group of professionals, beginners, enthusiasts, or everyone in between.

 

Big Idea utilizes a uniquely democratic system of operating. No one owns Big Idea; instead it is up to our members to determine the artistic vision and future of our company. Members are chosen for their impressive dedication and their proven skills at creating art. Members select shows for our season, elect our leadership, and are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company.
